How long will my order take?
Turnaround time may vary depending on the item(s) you have ordered. In general please allow 10-12 business days plus shipping for your personalized order to arrive at your home or business. During the holidays, processing time may increase. Personalized Pottery orders take a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks for processing before they ship. During the holidays, most of our vendors have cut-off dates for ordering. Please note this when you are placing an order during the months of October, November and December. Personalized Pottery orders are not taken after mid October; and those taken in October may not arrive until a few days before Christmas. So order early!!!!

May I begin my order for birth announcements before my baby is born?
Yes, please do! We’d love to hold onto your order and await the arrival of your baby. If you choose to do so, please submit your order putting “XX” in place of any unknown text. Add any special notes onto the order form. To avoid confusion, do not put any information in the announcement text that is not definite. For instance, please put “XX pounds, XX ounces” rather than guessing “7 pounds, 5 ounces”.


May I receive my birth announcement envelopes early?
Most of the manufacturers we work with offer this service.  There is an additional $25 fee, which includes the ground shipping cost as well.  If you are interested, please indicate “Envelopes Ahead” in the special notes section of the online order form. The additional charge will be submitted separately.


How are errors handled? What is your return policy?
Once a product is personalized and printed correctly, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on that item.

Orders with errors made by the manufacturer will be reprinted at no charge and shipped as soon as possible.

Orders that include an error made by the customer will be reprinted at the customer’s cost and processed as quickly as possible. Shipping charges will apply. An error made by the customer includes the following situations:

  • text originally submitted with an error
  • an option incorrectly chosen on the online order form
  • an error overlooked on a proof (regardless of submitted text)

Please send an e-mail or call to discuss your particular situation, should an error occur. Fine Lines will do its best to correct the situation!


Why should I create an account? I forgot my password, what do I do?
Creating an account is a simple process that will shorten the checkout process It will enable Fine Lines to keep a record of your purchases for your future reference. One of the greatest benefits is that the items in your shopping cart will not disappear when you leave our online boutique. They will remain there until you purchase them or personally remove them!

If you forget your password, simply click “Password Forgotten” on the login page and a new password will be emailed to you immediately!


What forms of payment are accepted?
Fine Lines conveniently accepts Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.


Is my credit card secure on your website?---do we need anything like this on the website?
Yes. It is secured with GeoTrust QuickSSL, a web server certificate which enables up to 256-bit encryption, meaning that confidential information and transactions cannot be viewed, intercepted or altered. This SSL (secure socket layer) protocol is the web standard for encrypting communications between users and web sites, providing both consumers and businesses with the confidence that private data sent to a website is secure.


Will I be charged sales tax?
Only residents of Ohio will be charged sales tax (6.75%).


Do you accept orders that will need to be shipped outside of the continental United States?
No, not at this time.

Yes, of course. We are happy to answer any question! Email is the best way to reach us and it will be returned shortly. While we strive to be available for every call, we occasionally meet with clients in our shop and may be busy with our customers shopping in the store.
